CONFERENCE: Tertiary Education - Teaching and Learning from all sides

Postgraduate Teaching Internship Scheme 2014

I was a 2014 UWA Postgraduate Teaching Intern, which kept me busy with a long line of reports, Teaching Portfolios, papers and presentations.  Highlights from the Internship include presenting at the Teaching and Learning Forum and submitting a paper for consideration by the journal 'Assessment and Evaluation in Higher Education'.

To read more about the Internship experience, see my blog post here.

Teaching and Learning Forum 2015

Last month I attended the Western Australian Teaching and Learning Forum as part of the requirements under the 2014 Postgraduate Teaching Internship Scheme.  In particular I found a keynote presentation on the present challenges for tertiary education stimulating.  You can find a blog post reflecting on these themes here.

I was lucky enough to present at the conference, and appreciate the 25-odd audience members who listened dutifully to my presentation:

Simpson, G., (2015), Analysing student perceptions and measures of learning in a Master's level peer review feedback process, Western Australian Teaching and Learning Forum, University of Western Australia, Perth Western Australia

I would especially like to thank the other Interns for their support, not just during the Forum but throughout the whole year!
